Guest experiences

What guests say about InstaServe.

We asked guests what changes when a direct service button is within reach. Their answers were not really about technology. They were about not having to wave, not interrupting a conversation, ordering another drink when they want one and getting the bill without waiting to be noticed.

What guests notice first

Small moments make a surprisingly big difference when service is easy to reach.

01
Finally, no more waving at the waiter. You press the button and before you know it, someone is next to your table.

02
I was sceptical at first, but it works really smoothly. Want another beer? Press the button and mine was there within a minute.

José · Guest interview

03
What I like most is that you do not have to scan a QR code with your own phone. Just press the button and that is it.

04
It also looks really stylish and advanced, having something like that on the table, and it works very well.

05
On a busy terrace evening this is worth its weight in gold. I used to spend ages trying to wave someone over. Not anymore.

B.D.W. · Guest interview

06
It is handy when you are there with children. I do not have to get up or chase someone down, I can just press and wait.

Kylian Van der Graag · Guest interview

07
No more trying to make eye contact with a waiter who is already busy. It is genuinely a relief.

Janna Wachtberger · Guest interview

08
Great idea. It feels modern without being intrusive, and it also saves staff from unnecessary walking.

09
We were sitting in a corner where staff could hardly see us. With the button, that suddenly did not matter anymore.

Fast, simple, no messing around with apps or QR codes. Exactly what you need when you are out for a drink.

InstaServe live service overview and operational insights

Beyond the button

For guests it is one press. For managers, it becomes a live view of the shift.

Every InstaServe request is linked to a table or service zone and a clear request type. Behind the scenes, managers can see open requests, waiting times, recurring patterns and pressure points while service is running. InstaServe also turns that activity into live operational insights and recommendations, helping teams improve during the shift instead of only reviewing problems afterwards.

The difference guests actually feel

No app to install. No QR code to scan. No need to keep looking around the room.

11
My friend immediately said, ‘Oh, that is actually a clever little system.’ He was right.

Carlos · Guest interview

12
During the match the place was packed, but thanks to the button we still got our next round quickly each time.

Vincent K. · Guest interview

13
I do not like having to call out to a waiter. It always feels a bit awkward. This solves that completely.

Helma De Kort · Guest interview

14
Surprisingly quick, actually. I thought it might just be a gadget, but the staff reacted almost immediately.

Merel Michielsen · Guest interview

15
It is great for people who are less mobile. My mother did not have to get up to look for someone.

Stephanie · Guest interview

16
Discreet and efficient. You just want to keep talking without constantly looking around for a waiter.

Frederick · Guest interview

17
No downloading apps or registering. Just one press of a button. That is how it should be.

Noah · Guest interview

18
As a guest, it makes the venue feel a little more professional, like they have really thought about your comfort.

Luc Denise · Guest interview

19
My daughter thought the button was ‘cool’. She always wanted to press it herself when she wanted another cola.

Maria · Guest interview

20
Sometimes I am a bit shy and I do not really dare to ask for another drink. I wait until the waiter notices me, and sometimes I end up not ordering anything else. With a button like this, I do not have to wait for that moment.

Boin · Guest interview

21
I find it awkward having to raise my hand just to ask for the bill. Sometimes it takes so long before someone notices. With a button like this, I can simply request the bill and stay seated.

Irisje · Guest interview

22
Last time I ordered a Bolognese lasagne and received a veggie lasagne instead. It took so long for someone to notice me that I eventually just ate it. It was tasty, but I really wanted the Bolognese. With a button like this, I could have flagged it straight away.

Gunter · Guest interview

I’m glad they have the InstaServe button at FlameGrill. The waiter had forgotten my side dish. I pressed ‘Urgent’ and someone was at our table right away.
